Irish Red Ale
This makes it official. Out of doors brewing season is over. To tide me over, I've gotten an Irish Red Ale Kit from Northern brewer and I'm making it in the kitchen this afternoon.
Ingredients
- 6 lbs. Gold Malt Syrup
- 8 oz. Caramel Pils
- 4 oz. Special Roast
- 2 oz. Biscuit Malt
- 2 oz. Chocolate Malt
- 1 oz. Kent Goldings (60 min)
- 1 oz. Willamette (knockout)
- Wyeast #1272 American Ale II yeast
